We cannot tell about a person based on what others say about them, or even based on our own first impression. Look beyond their reputation to the reality.

Perhaps one of our greatest spiritual problems today is that we are too busy — and we have little time for solitude, reflection, relaxation, and simply sitting at the feet of the Master.

God is inviting you to talk with him. It doesn’t have to be formal, flowery, or perfect. It just has to be real.
