22 Promises from the Word for 2022

Chris Cannon leads the HomeWord “Pastor to Pastor” ministry which comes alongside pastors and ministry leaders from all over the country and the world. Chris does a great job of caring, coaching and listening. At the end of the year, Chris sent out these promises to his mailing list. The very day he sent them out, I read all these promises during my devotional time, and it was great. Maybe these promises can inspire you as well. 22 Promises from the Word for 2022

In a world of complete uncertainty, God’s Word can be trusted. His promises are “yes and amen.” As children, let’s honor our Father by believing that what He says He is and will do…He IS and WILL DO!

May we experience His power, goodness and provision in 2022…and may the fulfillment of His Word result in our giving praise, glory and honor to Him.

Day 1:  Isaiah 41:10 – So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Day 2: John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that you may have life and have it abundantly.

Day 3:  Psalm 84:11 – For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

Day 4:  John 14:27 – Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Day 5:  Philippians 1:6 – being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Day 6:  Jeremiah 33:3 – ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

Day 7:  Lamentations 3:22-23 – Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Day 8:  Romans 8:18 – I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Day 9:  Jude 24-25 – To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

Day 10:  1 Corinthians 10:13 – No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Day 11:  Psalm 73:26 – My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Day 12:  Psalm 46:10-11 – He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Day 13:  2 Corinthians 12:9, 10 – But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Day 14:  John 16:33 – “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Day 15:  2 Timothy 1:7 – For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Day 16:  Psalm 18:32 – It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.

Day 17:  Isaiah 12:2 – Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.”

Day 18:  1 John 1:9 – If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Day 19:  Philippians 4:13 – I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Day 20:  Psalm 27:1 – The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?

Day 21:  Joshua 1:9 – This is my command- be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Day 22:  1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 – May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.
