Tim Tebow is the latest high-profile name betting on the future of short-form entertainment.
The former NFL quarterback announced a new venture called Lighthouse Verticals, a streaming platform dedicated to faith-based and family-friendly microdramas — the bite-sized, vertically shot scripted series that have become one of the fastest-growing trends in streaming.
The platform, set to launch in November, is backed by Studio316, the faith-based production company founded by Tebow’s company, The Tebow Group, alongside Snow Story Productions. Together, the companies plan to produce more than 30 original series for the platform.
“I believe stories have the power to change how people see themselves, see others and ultimately see Jesus,” Tebow said. “We’re committed to telling stories with excellence and our hope is that, ultimately, we can glorify God in the process.”
Lighthouse Verticals is led by a team with experience across both Hollywood and faith-based entertainment. Its founders include producers who have worked on projects ranging from The Chosen to Netflix’s Black Rabbit, with former LD Entertainment executive Jesse Liddell serving as CEO.
