When God calls His people to repent in the Scriptures, He is not merely telling them to feel sorry for what they have done in the past. He invites His people to come home again, to live as they were created to live, a life of harmony with God.

Jesus calls on us to love our enemies: those who hate us, curse us and mistreat us. These are the people we are to love in our actions, not just our words.

The question is not where is God in our world; the better question is: Are we awake enough to see Him?

The hope of Christianity is that, in Jesus, God is making everything new again.
